Social networking sites such as facebook can be a good source of traffic and a good way to spread the word about your site. Also Google in particular seems to put a lot of weight into links from social network sites. So my suggestion I that social network buttons should be placed onto DIY templates and a code developed by DIY Dating for existing sites to add to their sites.

The "Add This" button is a great way to share notes, I use it a lot, social networking can be hard work but it does pay off, ive had more sign ups from one social networking site than from anywhere else including paid clicks. Find one you like and push push push in a subtly way your site. Still to get my first paid up member yet but its only been 2 weeks and im still hopeful this DIY dating will soon start working for me.
Be careful of some, Amen Me is a christian site so not really suitable
