My account has been created and I own the domain I wish to use. One of the Admin's said I will recieve an email with instructions on how to change my nameservers so that the domain I purchased, uses our nameserver. When should I expect to get this email? I am anxiously waiting to start advertisng and promoting my site.
Sorry to keep bothering you guys. I'm very new to this and just trying to do everything correct the first time around. Thanks in advance!
Joe
Hi Joe,
You should have received an e-mail as soon as your site was created (might be worth checking your spam folder, just in case).
For reference, the e-mail would instruct you to change your primary and secondary name servers to the following settings:
ns1.wulfrun.net
and
ns2.wulfrun.net
When you purchased your domain name, you should have been given access to an account control panel from where you can administer your domain name settings. Tiere should be a section in there called 'name servers' from where you can change the name server settings.
If you are still unsure of how to do this, the support team from the comapny that you registered the domain name with should be able to administer the changes for you.
Failing that, e-mail your details to our support team via the link at the top of the forum and we will assist you further.
Also, I'd like to welcome you to DIY-Dating. You have made a wise choice and we all wish you every success with any sites you make with us.
Best Regards
Rob
