Well you need to learn how to promote ur site you have got a banner exchange in ur dating setup thats a useful place to start exchanging banners, but i would do a little bit of research, you might want to think about buying a domain name, as your site url is very long, and not very memorable, domain names pretty cheap nowadays anyhow you can replace your long site name with ur domain then !

Nope, some people are happy with the free domain names, it depends how far you want to go with your site, I think its just easier to get your own domain name, and get a name thats more memorable.

Domains dont cost anything these days anyhow, will probs cost you £10 a year something like that, you dont need any hosting just a domain name, and tell diy dating and they will tell u what to do.

But as you have been told it will cost you some money to be able to get your own domain name and a good banner for your banner exchange on your website. Plus there are a few other things you can do if you have some money to invest to help your website. Remember there is no such thing as a totally free lunch or website in this case. while you can run with all the defaults in today's competitive world you do need to do that little bit extra to help you get visitors and eventually some money coming in from your website.
