i put my website in many banner exchange places but i still can not get people to my site can anyone help me

Marketing takes a bit more than just link exchanging im afraid, if it was that easy everyone would be doing it, you need to do a bit of research into other ways of marketing

I too am all new to this and started last month. I have a lot to learn but am enjoying it. Marketing is differcult but I am getting there and my sites are building up. I agree that it takes some research and time rather than throwing money at it

I have being at this over a year at first I did not market my sites that much so for about the 1st 12 months I got between 35-40 sign ups and 13 upgrades. I have used google adwords for the last month or so with a budget of €1 a day and I am slowly approaching 100 profiles and 16 upgrades.

In some ways I think one of the better ways to work a site is provide a site/community around it outside of diydating to attract people.

I have been getting some traffic from freetrafficbar.com I jsut joined yesterday and have had quite a few hits on my site. You have to add their bar to your browser and every time you surf to a new page you get credits for your add to show. the Free program starts you out with 1000credits. You might well be getting lots of traffic, but im guessing you aint getting any sign ups ! These kind of marketing sites dont work, they only work for one person and thats the person who owns the site in the first place !

I have started a group on google where i can put a link to my sites and it seems to be bringing in traffic and its free

Surprisingly enough, one of the best places to advertise a website is actually OFFLINE!
Print out some flyers with your website address and pin them up in the local laundry and other such pinup places, and a small ad in your local paper in the personals section "meet somebody special tonight at www.yes.diydating.com! can go a long way.

I've found placing a photo on one of those photo rating sites of a nice girl with either your site name at the bottom or in the description box a good idea.

I won't tell you where I get my gorgeous women pics from though!

Oh, since June last year when I got my adult site I've had 160 people sign up now I think it is at. I had 33 in one night from an online classified paper advert - Then it was removed, but it worked and got me 33 sign ups in about 4 hours!

I've had a payout of £16, £32 and £82 - I would be interested to hear what other people have made to see if this is worth continuing to work on.

I've found though that if you want to make money online it is best to 'have your fingers in many pies' - excuse the pun!

I'm currently working on a new jewellery trend that should interest teenagers and girls and guys out clubbing. I also have an Adult version of Youtube to try to get people to sign up to my adult site when they view that. But one guy at work has said that someone going to my adult youtube style site to quickly jack off won't be interested in joining up to meet a girl for real but I disagree.
It is always a little bit of extra advertising - Some is better than none!

got some good ideas but there already is an adult youtube, its called redtube and it has 1000's of videos of hardcore porn that are free to watch and u dont have to sign in. Good luck with yours though.
