Hi there i have just signed up with diydating.com and i have a few problenms of where to start first eg like banner exchange and links could some one please explain it to me but not too tecvhnical please.

Banner exchange systems are fairly simply once you get used to using them.

The main idea behind them is that you have a banner that you either host on your own web space or upload directly to the banner exchange program you are joining. You then enter your site details with the exchange when joining.

Once you have done that, you will be given a piece of HTML code (that will probably look complicated if you aren't familiar with HTML). You will need to paste this code into the links section of your diy-dating site.

To do this, log into your webmaster area and switch to advanced mode.

Go to the 'design HTML' section and then to 'inside headers'

Select the 'links' page frim the inside headers section and then paste your code into either the top or bottom text box.

Your reciprocal link back to the banner exchange will now be on your site and you will be able to start receiving traffic from the exchange program.


I'm sure there will be forum members that will be able to point out a few good programs for you to take a look at.
