Hi Tobias,

How long have you been marketing your site for?
From experience (and I'm sure other webmasters will agree) it does take a bit of time to get the ball rolling and get the hits coming in.

If your hits are good but you conversion rate is still low, I would strongly consider adding more to your index page. Let potential members know about the site, the fact that there are lots of members there to contact and some of the features including buddy lists/admirers etc.

Avoid adding any statements that cannot be backed up such as 'this site has 53 billion active members' etc biggrin.gif

Good luck and happy webmastering! smile.gif

Hi there

I looked at your website and can see straight away what the trouble is, please took a look at other well known dating sites and try to do what they do. Your website has no content you need to lure the person into your site let them know the benefits of joining and have something more than what you have right now as right now your site is so unappealing.

I don't mean to sound harsh but the online dating game is not a game at all, but a serious business. It is easy to set up your dating website no doubt about that but not that easy to make money.

I agree with bojangles that it is certainly not as easy to make money as it is to set up a site with us (which we are always striving to improve and make easier for our webmasters).

We supply you with a good platform to get started. A starting point that is a heck of a lot easier than starting in this type of business on your own as a fresh venture with no existing members.

It is then your challenge to find the best way to market your particular site by taking advice and tips from various sources (including us and other webmasters).

Don't be afraid to experiment and try out new methods of marketing. The Internet dating market is very competetive but also very strong and as with the vast majority of other business, the strong and dedicated survive and prosper.

I am facing almost the same problem! I have lots of male customers, but I have so few female customers.

Noticed that from my region, the number of female account is extremely little. Any tips for getting the girls to join?

Although the guys are the main converters, but the girls are the lure for the guys right?
