How about having mobile phone access.

Each site would have its own text contact.

People could join, by using a mobile phone, and get updates.

To make the sites available via mobile phone the entire system would have to be written in WML inside of the standard HTML. Then of course there are variances between each brand of mobile phone onboard browsers.

Due to this and the small percentage of people that actually use their mobiles to browse websites we currently do not feel that it would be worth the expense to put in place such a system.

If any webmaster wants to have WAP viewable pages then you can create your own via an inside header, again for it to work it should be written in WML.
