In conjunction with the new look of the www.diydating.com we have now launched the website awards section.

Normally any site that wants to win an award has to to specifically enter your site for consideration via the 'Awards' -> 'Enter Your Site' page from the side menu.

These awards are given out at the end of each quarter. The dates are as follows:

1st January till 31st March
1st April till 30th June
1st July till 30th September
1st October till 31st December

The current categories are :

Most Improved Site
Best Site Designs (1st - 3rd place)
Featured Sites

If your site wins an award you will receive a certificate detailing what you have won. This will be emailed to your support email address and is also available for download from 'Awards' -> 'Your Awards' page. Along with the certificate you can chose to display any awards you have won on the site.

This can be done in several ways. While in 'Advanced Mode' you can chose to show your awards via 'General' -> 'Site Settings' and selecting either 'show in header' or 'show in footer' in the 'Site settings' segment. Alternatively you can insert the html code displayed on the 'Awards' -> 'Your awards' page into your site html.

Is it possible to to view the previous quarters winners?

Hi,

Yes you will be able to view the previous winners. If you take a look at the bottom of the page you will be able to see some dates, at the moment these dates are barely visible as there are no other awards to view.

When the next period comes round then those links at the bottom will become usable and allow you to go back to the previous quarter.
