Hi all

I joined diy dating 25 days ago and so far i have managed 544 profiles with only 17 upgrades, my marketing dosent start till friday so up till now i havent advertised it majorly, was wondering if it was something i should keep pushing or give up now?

Hi,

Your marketing so far seems to have started well and although your conversion rate isn't massive at the moment, this should change over time.
You will find that some members will take a few weeks to decide to upgrade and you will find as you progress that members upgrade that have joined in previous months etc.

You have had a few more upgrades overnight as well.

You should see your members begin to convert over the next few months.

I've got 1700++ members but not doing as good as you!

Hi all,

'Stanf' - I've taken a look at your account and I would recommend raising your price plan to 6, we recommend this as it is the one most popular with our really successful websites and it will increase your commission levels. Hopefully this will help your conversion rates too, some members do take a little time to convert as they don't always find a perfect partner the first time they look.


'Stanley' - A lot of your traffic seems to be coming from Southeast Asia, they are exceptions but as a general rule the conversion rate is slightly lower from that region, good going with the site though, its getting quite popular.


Another way to increase conversions is to add some premium content to your sites for full members only adding yet another incentive to convert.

Thats brilliant! I still not figured out how to get this moving at all. You say you have not started advertising...what have you done so far to get all that action in less than a month?

What is involved to add premium content to our sites? eg what content can we add and how would we go about this (forgive my ignorance on the matter!)

Premium content could be any galleries, online movies or erotic stories that you have the rights to use.

To create a full member page, go to 'Advanced Editor' then 'Page Editor', create a new page and add <%FULLMEMBERONLY%> to the top of the body.
You can then add your code under this and it will only be seen by full members.

Remember to create a teaser page or link, such as thumbnails or part of a erotic story which links to the full member page.

With regards to discount codes, they are only really effective with sites that have large member joins, unless you use the code as a marketing tool to advertise on voucher websites and forums.

Didnt realise anyone had replied to my post.

Still havent manged to sort out my advertising but in my 1st month i have over 700 members and 30 upgrades not sure how everyone else has done so cant compare, will look into premium content page when my new kitchen has been installed next week and ill finally have the time to spend doing the site up.

Still interested to know how you drove that much traffic so soon before starting any campaign.
