Now ive already posted links to my new site using the DIY URL in facebook and a few other social network groups. Do I have to go back and post my new domain name or will the old addey still link to my site? told you id be back with questions lol thanks The best thing to do would be for you to add a new site to your account for the domain that you have purchased. The following shortcut will take you there: http://www.diydating.com/master_createsite.php During the site creation process choose the 'use your own domain' option and enter the domain name in to the 'Domain' box. It works best if you add www. in front of your domain name as this is not added automatically by the system. Once you have set the site up you will need to point the domain name to our servers. To do this you need to change the primary and secondary name servers for the domain to the following settings: ns1.wulfrun.net and ns2.wulfrun.net This settings are usually administered from a section called 'change name servers' or 'dns settings' but this varies from company to company so it really depends on which company you purchased your domain name from. If in doubt I would recommend contacting the customer support team for the company you purchased the domain name from. Failing that, drop me an e-mail and I will be able to help you further with the set-up. All the best Rob |
