I have just come across and started using a really neat tool to develop many, many one-way backlinks from targeted blogs free of charge.
The principle is this: The site takes blogs into it's directory. Proper blogs, not B.S. ones it has churned out itself, as they offer the incentive for these bloggers to get free relevant and moderated content which is an attractive proposition. The person who wants to develop the backlinks can submit an article to up to 30 of these blogs with 1 click and include 1 link for 350 word article and 2 links in a 450+ word article free of charge. I just published my first one on their system and will get 60 backlinks to a site of mine (more if you add in the 'tag page') So what is different to simple article publishing/submitting? Many things as far as I can see. Your links are in the body of the article text so they are 'natural looking' , the links are guaranteed not to be removed (part of the bloggers TOS) . There is a tool which enables you to 'spin' your title and article text so it randomly creates slightly different content each time its published to avoid duplication. There are many more advantages as well, you will have to check out the site for all the details . There is a 'pro' membership' which costs, but the free version is very usable and I, personally, will only upgrade when I see the results but it looks quite impressive so far. Here is the link 'Free Traffic Exchange' Have fun with it! |

I would also like to comment on this. I'm fully aware what Barry is using here, I've been using it for a few weeks myself. I'm concentrating my efforts on just one of my sites at the moment and using the free option as, like Barry, I want to see results first.
I'm already noticing increases in search engine hits per day, and this site is now on page 1 of Yahoo for the chosen keywords which I'm using. So that could either a coincidence that more people are searching for my keywords over the past couple of weeks, or the oneway links from using this blogging system are actually bumping me up the search engines. I personally believe it's the latter, but I've only just started using this! I'll be writing a new blog every few days and kicking it off on it's automated posting, along with 2 of my oneway backlinks. I'm after the first page or two of Google within a couple of months! Hopefully I'll have the time to keep plugging away and getting these backlinks building up naturally so I can get there by the end of the year. Fingers crossed. Good luck Barry and anyone else who decides to give this a shot. Besides which, it's free anyway so you've not much to lose really! |

I'm going to add another reply to this, as I know for a fact a lot have signed up to this. However, not many are actually using it, which I think's a bit bizzare?!
Not only are my backlinks buiding without really doing much, but I'm also getting sign ups from the backlink posts / articles too! Why you wouldn't want to use this is beyond me. My search engine direct hits have gone from about 5 / 10 a day to about 50+ a day in the past 2 months, and growing. Use it, it's there. You can see more and join here.......... FREE one-way backlinks! |

I agree with you, daveydaveydavey. Free Traffic System is a superb SEO tool which many people don't use - even when they are registered with it. God knows why not!
There are 70 odd people who have registered that I know of and apart from about a dozen who use it a lot, very few are using. The others probably sign up for anything that comes along and never use these things. For me its working great. I didnt use it much on my dating sites bit another niche site of mine is now 'above the fold' on page 1 with chosen keywords. Now I will start on my dating sites... I think that Free Traffic System is obviously not the only tool to use in the SEO armory but it sure ranks up there as one of the essentials for me. Free Traffic Sytem - Sign Up Here |

Hi Daz
When you write an article it has not got to be promotional. I have written an article for Ezine, which I ended up getting Expert Author Status. My first article I wrote on there was declined, I had not had my dating site very long, so was not sure what to write. So I left it a few months and wrote another one, but as I said it must not be promotional. Now the majority of my articles get published, and I have done quite a few. |

Hi Daz
I really do not know what to say, it all takes time. You just have to have patience with it. I do not know if you have altered your sites, perhaps you can change the colours, text and pictures. Do a backup first with diydating facility, because if you do make a mistake then it can be restored to the original site. There are alot of diydating sites on the internet, and you could perhaps make yours look a little different. I have not altered my sites very much, but made a few things different. Try google adwords on one of your sites, and I would advise to have web domains for all of your sites, as when you do a campaign on adwords Jpthe sub domain will be to long. Join other webmaster forums and read all the messages on marketing, alot of valuable advise on there. If you do not know how to alter your sites in HTML, you can learn alot from http://www.w3schools.com My regular dating site is not doing to well, I have been advised to make alterations to my front page, when I get time I will have a go. All my sites apart from one of them have web domains, I would not have sub domains, because some advertising sites do not accept them. Some of my sites do better than others, but one of my sites does particularly well, and that is where I get most of my upgrades on. You do not get rich over night, you have to work hard at it, like I said try and add things to your site, do some alterations to your front pages, they have to be attractive for google, as every 3 months, they do page ranking, and the higher the page rank, the higher you will be on google. Concentrate on your sites for now, and then worry about the members joining, work on getting one site looking attractive at a time. Have a look at other dating sites on google, to see what they look like, and see what alterations you can make on yours. I hope you will get some members shortly Take Care Vanessa |

Keep Plugging away, you will get there in the end, it all takes time and some hard work until you start getting those profiles and upgrades on your sites.
Make sure your meta tags are entered for your pages and try to get your keywords right for your site. Submitting your site to as many searchengines as you can will start to get the ball rolling as well as using link exchanges and banner exchanges. Those hits will start comming in eventually if you keep up the hard work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

I also agree, it takes hours and hours of hard work, and it pays of in the end. Once your sites get established then you can spend less time marketing, as I have said before gain as much information as you can from other webmasters on webmaster forums.
I have been with DIY dating 1 year this October, and it has taken me a good 8-9 months to get established, if it was not for Jamie and Rob helping me out at times, when I got stuck and made a mess of my sites, I would have given up ages ago. Some of my sites do better than others, but that is expected. Google adwords has helped me alot, do not spend much on it, but have found some excellent keywords, with alot of research, otherwise if you do not do any researching it can cost you a fortune, clicks do not necessarily turn into profiles or upgrades, but it can help, at least if they put a profile on your site, then it can turn into an upgrade. I was well up on computers, but not well up on marketing or html coding, but have learnt alot, over the months alot of it has now fallen into place, over the time it is getting better and better my knowledge. Keep plugging at it and it will come in time, I did not believe it when the office kept telling me, but now I do agree. Good luck with your dating sites. Vanessa |

Just try to leave a proper comment to the others blog posts. Most of them are asking your url so that means you are going to leave your signature behind and that means back links for you. |
